Low Volume Systems
Our low volume system brings together our unique Fuel De-pollution Unit (FDU) with our range of mobile tanks to remove non flammable fluids.
We believe using mobile tanks for fuel extraction is an unsafe process.
The FDU operates identically to the fuel section of our high volume de-pollution unit. The unit extracts Petrol or Diesel from under the vehicle by puncturing the tank or siphoning through the filler cap. ATEX certified, the unit allows the operator to grade clean or dirty fuel before pumping it to an external storage facility.
The FDU can at any time be simply and economically upgraded to a full high volume VDU. The system is therefore ideal for users who are unsure of the volumes of ELV's they will be dealing with, but want to install compliant professional equipment.

Water and hydraulic based fluids are removed by mobile tanks, these units use compressed air through a venturi to create a vacuum in the tank which is then used to suck the fluid from the vehicle. Once full the mobiles can be discharged by pressurising the tank and blowing the fluid out.

Engine oil is removed by placing a mobile unit with a top mounted funnel under the vehicle to drain the oil through the sump plug or a punctured hole.

The low volume system is typically used in conjunction with a fixed frame to load the car onto but the operation can be speeded up by using any approved vehicle lift.

Requires 20cfm of compressed air at 7 bar
